Making the most out of a country club’s mulligan

It is more likely for a golfer to score a hole in one than it is for a 95-year-old golf and country club to get a mulligan (“do-over”) on its clubhouse facilities. After a massive fire destroyed the main building at Milburn Country Club (fortunately without injuries) members saw this as an opportunity to position their club for the future. The new clubhouse focuses heavily on hospitality, inside and out. The design gives added visibility and access to the club’s historic golf course while accommodating the multi-dimensional needs of a family-oriented membership.
